Walking Rugby at Birmingham Moseley
Looking for a fantastic way to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the spirit of rugby in a friendly, low-impact environment? Our Walking Rugby team is the perfect fit for men and women, primarily (but not exclusively) over 50, offering a welcoming space to reconnect and have fun.
Started in 2021 by the Moseley Rugby Community Foundation, our overriding aim is simple: to bring people together for fun and gentle exercise in a safe, supportive setting.
Our sessions are held every Thursday evening from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the club. You’ll be coached by one of our experienced Community Coaches and an RFU Senior Coach, ensuring everyone feels confident and included.
Sessions are free for club season ticket holders. Non-season ticket holders are very welcome and can participate for just £1 per session, though we encourage taking out an annual Social Membership for £50 to get the best value and support the club.
While the focus is on fun and fitness, we also enjoy occasional fixtures against other clubs and participate in Walking Rugby festivals, adding to the camaraderie.
