An Evening with Sir Bill Beaumont, Nick Mullins & Guests

Calling all Moseley Supporters and Members!

We’d love to see loads of our Moseley members at an event we’re hosting for a fantastic rugby charity – the Injured Players Foundation – at the end of this month. The evening with feature a Q&A with special guests Sir Bill Beaumont and ITV/TNT commentator Nick Mullins.

There is no charge to attend, all we ask is your presence to learn a little more about the IPF. This is the charity we hope none of us ever need to call, but if a life-changing injury were to occur on the rugby pitch, it’s the IPF who would be by a player’s hospital bedside within 48 hours and would continue to support the player and their family for life if needed.

Following a short intro to the charity, hearing about how rugby provides amazing support for participants, the evening will focus on a fun Q&A where you can put your questions to two people who are synonymous with rugby.

Sir Bill Beaumont has captained the British and Irish Lions and England, not to mention legendary ‘Question of Sport’ line-ups in the heyday of the popular TV programme when Emlyn Hughes was his opposite number. Most recently, Sir Bill was Chair of World Rugby and is Patron of the RFU Injured Players Foundation.

Nick Mullins has called the last four Rugby World Cup Finals for ITV, alongside decades of Six Nations Championships for ITV and the BBC. You will hear him week-in-week out on the Gallagher Prem Rugby for TNT. If you’re a tennis fan, you will also have listened to Nick at Wimbledon, Roland Garros and the Australian Open. Nick has described Olympics opening and closing ceremonies and commentated on sports ranging from rowing to Taekwondo, so your questions don’t have to be limited to rugby!
